One person. Me.
I am Carson Holder. I build these out of Virginia Beach, one at a time, under Deliberate Services LLC. There is no account manager and no team you get handed off to. You will always be talking to the person who is actually building your site.
I am not going to pretend I have a wall of client logos. I do not, because Craft & Site is new. What I have is the work above, prices in public, and a concept of your site that I will design before you pay me anything. Judge me on those.

How much does a website cost?
Custom websites are quoted per project and start at $1,200. Final price depends on the scope, functionality, integrations and content the build needs, not on page count. Care is $59 a month after launch. If you would rather not pay up front, it is $0 today and $249 a month for twelve months, then $59 a month and the site is yours. Every price is on my pricing page.
Is the homepage concept really free?
Yes. You tell me about your business, I design a homepage for it, and I send it to you. There is no cost and no obligation to go ahead. If you do not like it, that is the end of it.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the size of the site, but most local business sites come together quickly once I have your details. You see the concept first, so nothing is scheduled until you have looked at something real.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The design and the content are yours once the build is paid. On the monthly plan that is once the twelve months are paid. If you ever want to take it somewhere else, I hand it over. The full terms are at craftandsite.com/terms.
What happens if I stop paying on the monthly plan?
There is no lock in. You can stop future payments at any time. If you cancel before the 12 build payments are complete, ownership has not transferred yet and I'll contact you about next steps before anything changes with your site. Once the twelve months are paid the site is yours, and Care after that is month to month and you can cancel any time.
Will my website work on phones?
Yes. Most of your customers will find you on a phone, so every site is designed for that screen first and looks right on everything from a phone to a wide desktop. The work above is shown on both for exactly that reason.
Do you host the website and keep it running?
Yes, on the Care plan. I host your site, keep it fast and secure, and stay on call as your business grows. Your site is handled, not homework.
Do I have to write the content myself?
No, not the words. You tell me about your business and I write the site from that. Pictures are different: I use the photos you already have, and if there is a gap I will tell you before we start. Paid stock or a photographer is a separate cost and it goes on the quote up front, never after.
What if I already have a website?
Send me the address with your details and I will design a concept of what it could become. Plenty of sites just look dated or are not doing anything for the business. There is a page on website redesigns if that is where you are.
What kinds of businesses do you build for?
